Is it permissible to give the usurious interest generated from a bank account to the wife's brother to pay off his debt?

If you are compelled to open a current account, then there is no blame upon you, Allah willing. The interest paid must be disposed of by spending it on charitable causes, and there is no objection to giving it to the needy relatives of one's wife.
