Is it permissible for a sister to give her husband money from interest she possesses to pay off a debt he owes?

A woman is permitted to give her husband money earned from usurious interest to pay off his debt if he is unable to do so. She is also permitted to give him from this money to fulfill his needs and the needs of their children if he is poor. In fact, they are more deserving of this charity because they are poor, and he may take from it what suffices his needs due to his poverty. However, if he is not poor, he should not be given from this money. It must be spent on the general welfare of Muslims, or given to the poor and needy.
