Should we act on a dream that advises against marrying an engaged girl whom we desire, knowing that the advice came from a deceased friend?

If the woman proposed for marriage is religious and of good character, we advise marrying her, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "A woman is married for four reasons: for her wealth, for her lineage, for her beauty, and for her religion. So, succeed with the religious woman, may your hands be soiled [with dust - an expression of encouragement]." However, if she is not satisfactory in her religion and character, then she must be left.
