What is the ruling on working for a company where lawful and unlawful elements are mixed, knowing that the salary is very low and there is no other work available in the country?

With faith, tribulation is inevitable, as stated in the verse: "Do people think that they will be left alone because they say, 'We believe,' and will not be tested?" And glad tidings are for those who are patient and abstain from the forbidden. For whoever fears Allah and is patient, then Allah does not waste the reward of the good-doers. One must immediately stop consuming the forbidden and be content with the little that is lawful. For the consideration is about what is lawful and forbidden, not about scarcity or abundance, and every soul is a pledge for what it has earned. The solution is chastity from the forbidden, patience, and seeking the lawful. For whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he does not expect.
