Praise be to Allah and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. We appreciate your communication and interest. Looking at forbidden things on television and the like is religiously forbidden, so it is not permissible to gaze at nude pictures and pornographic films because the effect is the same. The remedy is through prayer and fleeing to Allah Almighty, and awareness of the benefits of lowering one's gaze and the danger of allowing it upon forbidden things, for looking at the forbidden is a cause of misery and psychological illnesses. We advise you to be keen on staying away from rooms that contain forbidden visual materials, and to continue on the path of guidance and engage in memorizing the Quran, understanding the religion, and accompanying good people.
