What is the ruling on and consequences for someone who swears falsely upon the Mushaf, such as a woman who swore falsely upon the Mushaf to her husband regarding matters concerning her past, and is she obligated to tell her husband the truth?

The woman erred in telling her fiancé about her sins. The one who commits a sin must repent and conceal it. The husband erred in asking her about immoral acts and demanding an oath. There is no blame on her for lying to him to conceal herself. The ruling on swearing by the Book of Allah does not change whether one is in a state of purity or not, but she should have used equivocation. She should not tell her husband about her sin and should conceal herself.
