A woman who has missed the entire month of due to menstruation must make up the full fast, and the usual number of days of menstruation are not deducted from it. This is because a menstruating woman makes up the fast but not the prayer, as was narrated by Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: "That used to happen to us, so we were commanded to make up the fast, but we were not commanded to make up the prayer." This is a consensus among scholars.
