Why is hearing mentioned before sight in the Qur'anic verses?

We have not come across any wisdom for prioritizing hearing. Moreover, it is not consistently prioritized in the Qur’an. Sometimes the heart precedes it, as in "Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing." And sometimes sight and heart, or legs, hands, and sight precede it.
