What is the wisdom behind the Qur’an’s ordering of the senses, always prioritizing hearing over sight and the heart?

The exegetes have mentioned wisdoms for prioritizing hearing over sight inذكر (mention), among them that hearing is a tool for receiving information, knowledge, divine revelation, and the guidance of the prophets. It is also a means for the complete delivery of the call to nations. Furthermore, sounds reach the ear from all six directions without needing to be directed, unlike sight. Both are the greatest senses and the most powerful tools of perception. They are mentioned before the heart (fؤad) because it is the seat of all perception, and the perceptions of the senses are conveyed to it.
