Is a woman considered irrevocably divorced (talaq bain) if she does not consent to reconciliation, and thus does not inherit from her deceased husband, or is she a legitimate wife who has an waiting period ('iddah) and inheritance?

Revocable divorce grants the husband the right to take back his wife during her waiting period (iddah (definition)) without requiring her consent or knowledge. The wife's refusal does not affect the validity of the return (raj'ah), because Allah Almighty has given this right to men. If the husband believes that the return is not valid without the wife's consent, and he divorces her, the preponderant opinion is that his divorce does not take effect.
