What is the ruling on watching anime stories that include characters with supernatural powers (such as elemental manipulation, transformation, gravity control, or disintegration), or non-human characters capable of forming black matter, or characters who can travel back in time, or characters who can read minds? And which of these powers are forbidden?

We have previously explained the permissibility of watching fictional stories that include supernatural abilities and time control, as long as they do not contradict creed or violate morals and ethics. However, watching what simulates the actions of sorcerers and charlatans, and mind-reading, is not permissible because it falls under claiming knowledge of the unseen.
