Is it permissible to wear a wristwatch with "Christian Joy" written on it in English, given that I was unaware of this when I bought it?

It is not permissible for a Muslim to wear anything that is a special symbol of the disbelievers or that they wear in their celebrations. Rather, a Muslim must distinguish himself from them. Therefore, it is not permissible to wear the aforementioned watch unless what is written on it is removed. It can also be sold to a Christian.
