What is your opinion on the preacher's principles, which include: abandoning recommended acts and committing disliked acts to win over hearts; acting upon a less preferred opinion if people commonly act upon it; pursuing the path of ease whenever there is a legitimate Islamic way to do so; and adopting everything that leads to the unity of Muslims without denouncing valid jurisprudential issues that they have acted upon?

The da'i (caller to Islam) should strive to unite hearts and unify the word, by abandoning a recommended act, or performing a disliked act, or adopting a less preferred opinion, if unity cannot be achieved otherwise; because the benefit of unity is greater. And making things easy for people in matters of ijtihad (independent reasoning) is legitimate, especially in matters of widespread affliction, by validating transactions and acts of worship based on recognized jurisprudential opinions, as long as this does not conflict with guiding people to the correct path. Enjoining good and forbidding evil have their own rules and manners, including understanding, gentleness, and forbearance. There is no denunciation in matters of ijtihad. Dealing with people of innovation varies according to the degree of innovation, the state of its perpetrator, and the benefits and harms that result from it.
