Is film directing a blessing or a curse?

In its current state, cinema propagates vice and corrupts morals with its forbidden films, which are not devoid of immodest display, mixing of genders, and musical instruments. It is not permissible to assist in it by directing, producing, or financing, due to the Almighty's saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." If the art of directing can be used in what pleases Allah and benefits Muslims, it would be a blessing; otherwise, it is a curse.
