Did the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, participate in the religious activities of Quraish before his prophethood, and what is the evidence for that?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was, before his prophethood, infallible from polytheism and idol worship, and from falling into the practices of the pre-Islamic era (Jahiliyyah). He was a worshiper according to the law of Abraham, peace be upon him. This included his avoidance of idols, his standing at Arafat unlike his people, and his refusal to eat what was slaughtered for idols (nusub), as mentioned in the story of Zayd ibn Amr ibn Nufayl. He used to seclude himself for worship in the cave of Hira, which is a form of devotion. Some scholars are of the view that prophets are infallible from major and minor sins even before their prophethood.
