What is the ruling on trading and renting video games, and what are the implications of my actions?

If games contain forbidden elements such as music,裸 (nude) images, and gambling, then it is not permissible to play them or earn from them, as Allah Almighty says: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." However, if they are free from forbidden elements, then they are permissible. If they include forbidden elements, then they must be removed if possible, otherwise, they must be destroyed and disposed of as a rejection of evil, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand." The money earned from them is unlawful and it is not permissible to own it; rather, it must be disposed of in charitable causes.
