Is it permissible to divorce one's wife for aesthetic reasons, such as her hair being brittle, her breasts being small, and her not caring for makeup, or should one be patient with that? And how can one be patient in the face of temptations?

Adhering to a righteous wife is a great blessing. She can be advised to take care of permissible beautification. Marrying another and being just is permissible if she does not keep you chaste. Lowering one's gaze from forbidden things helps the husband be content with his wife, while letting the gaze roam makes him lose interest in her. One must beware of the whispers of Satan and look at the good aspects of the wife. Allah the Almighty said: "And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good." And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No believing man should hate a believing woman; if he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another."
