What is the ruling on benefiting from the extra meters of land after the street designated for ownership has been incorporated?

What you did, by taking five meters from the street and adding it to your land, is forbidden. You are obligated to repent to Allah Almighty and return what you took to the street. For whoever wrongfully takes even a handspan of land, Allah will encircle him with it from seven earths on the Day of Resurrection.
