The answer

It is recommended for the worshipper to glorify Allah ten times, praise Him ten times, and declare His greatness ten times after the obligatory prayers. It is preferable to vary between the different formulas and numbers mentioned in the glorification (tasbih), praise (tahmid), and declaration of oneness (tahlil) after the prayers. The Friday prayer is like other obligatory prayers; after it, the worshipper seeks forgiveness, glorifies Allah, praises Him, and declares His greatness. As for the Eid prayer, there is no glorification, praise, or declaration of oneness after it, because the Eid sermon immediately follows the Eid prayer, and because glorification, praise, and declaration of greatness are specific to the obligatory prayers, as indicated by the hadiths. The remembrances (adhkar) mentioned after prayers are to be recited after the obligatory prayer. However, after voluntary prayers, only "I seek forgiveness from Allah" three times, then "O Allah, You are Peace, and from You is peace; blessed are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor," should be said.
