You must strive to honor your mother and appease her until she forgives you, for the rights of parents do not cease with repentance; rather, it is necessary to seek their forgiveness. You must honor them, be kind to them, and be compassionate towards them until they are pleased with you. Do not despair, for Allah will soften their hearts towards you.
