Is it obligatory for a man to perform ghusl after every act of intercourse if he has intercourse with his wife two or three times in one sitting?

This man is only required to perform one ghusl. It is preferable for him to perform wudu between each intercourse, as a matter of recommendation, to make him more energetic. The Prophet (peace be upon him) went around to his wives with a single ghusl.
