What is the ruling on products that have pictures of complete or incomplete mythical creatures, and what is the ruling on buying them, and what is the ruling on these pictures?

The ruling on photography has been previously explained. As for drawings on products not intended for veneration, and which are incomplete or on something used in a demeaning way, it appears there is no harm in using items on which they are drawn. This is based on the Hadith: "except for an imprint on a garment." Likewise, images of animate beings that are incomplete in a way that life is impossible, such as those with severed heads or halves, are permissible, based on the Hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) cutting up a pictorial garment and making two cushions out of it. Accordingly, there is no harm in buying and selling products that contain this type of image.
