What is the ruling on some heirs monopolizing the sale of inherited properties and benefiting from their price, under the pretext of their superior investment skills, while depriving the rest of the heirs?

All that the father leaves as inheritance is to be divided among the heirs, with the male receiving the share of two females. This includes rental income from properties unless they have been divided. It is not permissible for any heir or anyone else to deny an heir their right, or to dispose of the inherited property except with the permission of all heirs if they are adults of sound mind, or with the permission of the judge or legal guardian for minors or those not of sound mind. The brothers' action of selling the property without the consent of the other heirs and taking the proceeds for themselves constitutes two grave transgressions.

The brothers must repent to Allah and return what they have taken, and seek forgiveness from the rest of the heirs before death overtakes them or before accountability becomes a matter of good deeds and bad deeds. Injustice will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection. Allah grants respite to the oppressor, then seizes him with the grasp of an Almighty, All-Powerful One. There is no barrier between the supplication of the oppressed and Allah. Whoever seizes the right of a Muslim by swearing falsely has incurred Allah's wrath, making Hellfire obligatory for him and Paradise forbidden.

All heirs are advised to reconcile and mend their relations. If they cannot agree, then they should refer the case to the Sharia courts.
