The answer

After the division of an inheritance, each heir has the right to dispose of their share by selling it at the price they deem acceptable. They are not obligated to sell it at the same price another heir sold theirs, based on the Almighty's saying: "O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly but only [in lawful] trade by mutual consent," and the Hadith: "The property of a Muslim is not lawful except with his willing consent."

An heir cannot be forced to sell to another heir, except in cases where the right of pre-emption (shufa'a) is established for undivided real estate. In such instances, a partner has the right to acquire the share at the selling price offered to an external buyer. However, for divided real estate, there is no right of pre-emption according to the majority of scholars.

If the property is undivided, no partner has the right to sell their share before informing their partners, based on the Hadith: "Whoever has a partner in a plot of land or date palm trees, he does not have the right to sell until he informs his partner. If he approves, he takes it; if he disapproves, he leaves it." If the partners do not wish to buy, he may sell it to others. If they do wish to buy, he sells it to them at a price he deems acceptable.

If the inheritance is undivided land or a house, and the heirs agree to sell it, it is appraised at market value, and its price is divided according to the shares. After division, each owner sells their share at the price they deem acceptable without being forced to adhere to a specific price.
