If you return from Egypt with the intention of performing Umrah (definition), you must enter into a state of ihram (definition) from the miqat (definition) of the people of Egypt (Al-Juhfah). However, if you did not intend to perform Umrah upon your return, but rather intended it later during your work, then you are not required to enter ihram from the miqat of the people of Egypt. Instead, you enter ihram from Jeddah. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen has drawn attention to this. Furthermore, Jeddah has become within the miqat, and a resident there enters ihram for Umrah or Hajj from their place of residence. Your previous entering into ihram from Jeddah is valid.
