Is it obligatory to lower one's gaze from a mother who wears tight pants in front of her daughter, knowing that the daughter does not feel lust in this situation and relies on the opinion that a woman's 'awrah (private parts) in front of another woman is only the two front and back private parts?

The prohibition of wearing tight trousers in front of non-mahram men has been previously established. Therefore, the mother should be advised, especially regarding wearing them in front of males. If her alienation is feared, then one should suffice with averting the gaze and supplicating for her guidance. It is also permissible to gift her loose trousers. The 'awrah of a woman in front of another woman is not restricted to the two private parts only; rather, her ruling is the same as that of a man with another man, as mentioned by Ibn Qudamah and in the Fiqh Encyclopedia.
