If a pilgrim cannot find a place in Mina, is it acceptable for him to spend the night outside Mina?

There is no harm for the pilgrim to spend the night outside Mina if his lodging is connected to the lodgings of the pilgrims. This is in accordance with the noble verses: (So fear Allah as much as you are able), (and He has not placed upon you in religion any difficulty), and (Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship). His ruling is like that of worshipers who صف [form rows] outside the mosque when it is full.
