Does money received for donating blood diminish the reward of the donor?

If the amount is given as compensation for donating blood, it is not permissible to take it, and it must be returned, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibition of the price of blood. However, if it is an incentive gift, there is no harm in taking it. Regarding its effect on the reward: If it is the price for blood, there is no reward for the donor, but rather they would be sinful. But if it is a gift, it diminishes the reward, just as spoils of war diminish the reward of warriors; whoever acquires spoils has hastened two-thirds of their reward, while whoever does not acquire spoils receives their full reward.
