The husband's statement to his wife, "You are divorced," is an explicit pronouncement by which divorce takes place, whether the husband intended it or not. Conditional divorce occurs upon the fulfillment of the condition, whether the husband intended divorce or threat, and whether the husband knew about it or not. If the wife does what her divorce was conditioned upon, forgetting or being ignorant, and she is keen not to make her husband break his oath, then divorce does not occur according to some jurists. Divorce by implication does not occur except with intention. Anger does not prevent divorce from occurring unless the person loses consciousness, and obsessive thoughts of divorce are not given attention.
