How is the inheritance divided among a wife, five sons, and two daughters after the husband's death?

The wife is entitled to one-eighth due to the existence of a lineal descendant, as Allah Almighty says: "But if you have a child, then for them is one eighth of what you leave." The remainder is to be divided among the sons and daughters by virtue of 'asaba (agnatic succession), with the male receiving the share of two females, as Allah Almighty says: "Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females." Thus, the inheritance is divided into 96 shares: the wife receives 12 shares, each son receives 14 shares, and each daughter receives 7 shares. The matter must be referred to the Sharia courts for a precise investigation into wills, debts, and other rights related to the estate.
