How do you respond to the misconception that Islam has usurped women's rights and paralyzed half of society?

This statement can only come from someone ignorant of Islamic law and impressed by the methodology of the enemies of Islam. Islam has not deprived women of their rights; rather, it has elevated their status. The appropriate work for a woman is to remain in her home to safeguard her husband, raise her children, and manage household affairs. This fulfills her interests, preserves her honor, and keeps her away from indecency. As for her sharing work with men, it also harms the man's work due to his preoccupation with her and his inability to perfect his tasks. Indeed, Muslims in the early days of Islam preserved their women and carried out their work to the fullest.
