Is it permissible to follow the fatwas of Sheikhs Ibn Baz and Ibn Uthaymeen, given the large number of muftis currently available, especially if they differ on a specific ruling, such as its prohibition by "Al Al-Sheikh" and its permissibility by Ibn Uthaymeen, and is it permissible to act upon the permissibility in this case?

The layperson who cannot deduce rulings must ask reliable scholars, as Allah Almighty says: ﴿So ask the people of the message if you do not know﴾, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Why did they not ask? Indeed, the cure for ignorance is asking.” If scholars differ, one should adopt the opinion of the most knowledgeable and most pious among them. It is permissible to follow the opinion of the two Sheikhs, Ibn Baz and Ibn Uthaymeen, even if they differ from others, provided that the motive is not seeking concessions or personal desires.
