What are the obligations of the man and the rights of the wife after divorce, knowing that half of the deferred Mahr has been handed over, and that the daughter prefers to live with her father?

Allah has commanded spouses to treat each other well and to strive for the stability of their marital life, with each fulfilling the other's rights. This is especially affirmed with the longevity of their relationship and the blessing of children. The occurrence of marital problems is natural, and spouses should exercise wisdom in resolving them and close the door to Satan, who seeks to separate them, as stated in the noble Hadith. Effort must be made towards reconciliation, involving wise people from both families, along with frequent supplication. If there are no ordinary reasons for the problems, they might be due to the evil eye or magic, and the cure for that is through ruqyah (Islamic exorcism/spiritual healing). If reconciliation becomes difficult and divorce occurs, the divorced woman has her rights, including the deferred mahr (dowry) and maintenance during the 'iddah (waiting period), unless she is disobedient (nashizah), in which case she is not entitled to maintenance unless she is pregnant.
