Is the deferred mahr owed to the wife in the event of divorce, if she was negligent in her prayers?

The husband must enjoin his wife to do good and forbid her from evil, fulfilling his responsibility. He should command her to pray and persevere with her. If she never prays, then the hadiths indicate that abandoning prayer is disbelief, so it is not permissible to keep her. It must be made clear that her insistence on this means she is no longer his wife, so either she repents and establishes prayer, or separation.

However, if she sometimes neglects prayer, the husband should advise her, connect her with righteous women, and strengthen her faith. If she insists on not praying regularly, it is permissible to divorce her while giving her all her rights, or to refrain from divorcing her and hold her back until she waives her dower, based on the Almighty's saying: (And do not restrain them [from marriage] in order to take [back] part of what you gave them, unless they commit a clear immorality).
