Is it permissible for a Muslim to use or propagate the term "religious obsession" (الهوس الديني) to refer to Islamic groups involved in public affairs or engaged in an awareness-raising role, or to refer to religion itself?

It is not permissible to describe the religion of Islam as "religious obsession," because obsession is a form of madness, and attributing it to Islam is akin to the blasphemous saying "religion is the opium of the people," which stems from the impurities of atheism. Cursing the religion or describing it with blameworthy characteristics is considered among the nullifiers of Islam and an act of apostasy, especially if it involves slandering the Sharia and fighting against its implementation. Whoever describes the religious as obsessive for their refusal to separate religion from the state, their intention is the spread of immorality and transgression against Allah's command, and the prophets themselves were accused of madness. The truth lies in adhering to the Quran and the Sunnah, and whoever adheres to them is holding fast to the rope of Allah, even if people disagree.
