What is the ruling on selling receiver devices that may be used for good or evil, and are they similar to radios, televisions, and the Internet in terms of the ruling on selling them?

It is permissible to sell these devices to those known for their righteousness and religious commitment, provided they use them in ways that Allah has made lawful. It is not permissible to sell them to those known for their disregard of religious rulings or to those whose state is unknown, due to the high probability of misuse, and in accordance with Allah’s saying: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty).
