Why does the questioner feel that religion is complicated, and does religion complicate people?

The religion of Allah is ease and simplicity. Allah has removed hardship from those who are obligated, and there are many proofs for this in the Qur’an and Sunnah, including His saying, glorified be He: "Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship," and the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, the religion is easy," and "Make things easy and do not make them difficult." The general rule in religion is: "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity" and "So fear Allah as much as you are able." Thus, the Sharia is not a source of complications and difficulties; rather, it is ease and mercy. Obsessions and strictness arise due to people's ignorance of the Sharia or their transgression against it. The Sharia should not be blamed for people's ignorance and extremism.
