What is meant by the saying: "Indeed, religion is ease and not hardship," and what are its examples?

The meaning of Allah's religion being ease and not hardship is that Allah has removed difficulty from the Ummah, so it is not burdened except with what it can bear, in accordance with His Almighty saying: "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity," and "He has not placed upon you in religion any difficulty," and "Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship," and "So fear Allah as much as you are able." The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Indeed, this religion is easy, and no one makes the religion a difficulty except that it overcomes him. So be firm, approximate, and give glad tidings, and seek help in the morning and evening journeys and a part of the night."
