How do we reconcile the age of Noah (peace be upon him) mentioned in the Qur'an (950 years) with modern scientific discoveries indicating that humans have not reached this age?

Verse 14 of Surat Al-'Ankabut states that Noah (peace be upon him) remained among his people for 950 years. This duration represents the period of his prophethood to them, indicating his patience and perseverance in conveying the message. This serves as a source of steadfastness for Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

A believer must affirm the information conveyed in the Quran because it originates from Allah, the All-Knowing Creator, and the Quran is truth, to which falsehood cannot approach.

As for your statement that discoveries do not indicate that humans lived to such an age, it is incorrect for three reasons: 1. The failure of researchers to find bodies that lived to this age does not negate their existence. 2. There is no conclusive research that denies the existence of peoples who lived to this age, and researchers have not encompassed all historical traces with their knowledge. 3. The conclusions of archaeologists are merely interpretative attempts, not absolute scientific facts, and some of them are influenced by the theory of evolution to oppose religion.
