However, if the impure substance is processed and undergoes a transformation (istihalah), then there is no objection to treating with it, and it becomes pure.

Therefore, if the extract transforms from its original properties through processing, it is ruled pure, and there is no harm in treating with it. But if it retains its original properties, then it is impure (najis), and it is not permissible to treat with it except in cases of necessity.

Injections do not break the fast of a fasting person unless they are nutritive injections.
