Does using pirated software or violating forum rules prevent one from receiving reward and recompense for da'wah and scholarly works?

The matter of recompense in the afterlife is known only to Allah. The questioner will not be deprived of it due to their good intention, for whoever's good deeds outweigh their bad deeds will be saved. However, one must cease violating people's rights and breaching contractual terms, for Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts," and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Muslims are bound by their conditions." Therefore, do not publish anything that violates the website's terms unless with the permission of its owners. As for using non-original software, the matter is less severe, and some scholars have permitted it for personal benefit without commercial gain, but the preponderant opinion is that it is not permissible except with the permission of its owners. Good intentions cannot be achieved through evil means such as violating rights.
