What is the ruling on being alone with a female servant of a young girl who lives in my house, while she is consenting and I am married?
Being alone with a non- woman is forbidden, whether she is a servant or not, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "No man should be alone with a woman unless there is a mahram with her," and his saying: "No man is alone with a woman but the third of them is the devil." Repentance and seeking forgiveness are obligatory, as is not returning to such an act. The servant's consent to being alone is of no consequence, and the sin is more heinous for a married person. The servant's consent strengthens the possibility of falling into immorality, and the matter is forbidden even if one feels secure from falling into a greater sin.
