Is the phrase "there is no shyness in religion" correct, and what is the evidence for that?

The general public uses the phrase "there is no shyness in religion" and usually intends a correct meaning by it, which is that shyness is not prescribed in learning about religion and should not prevent one from asking about what a person needs to know regarding it. Umm Sulaym used to introduce her question about the ruling on a woman's wet dream by saying: "Indeed, Allah is not shy of the truth," which is a more appropriate and precise expression than "there is no shyness in religion," as the latter might suggest that shyness is not part of religion, and this is incorrect, for shyness is a branch of faith.
