This was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Ahmad, Al-Bukhari in Al-Adab, and Al-Hakim, who authenticated it, and Al-Dhahabi agreed with him. It was also authenticated by Al-Albani and Al-Arna'oot. The hadith indicates the prohibition of cursing the wind, and that it may bring good or evil, and it encourages asking Allah for its good and seeking refuge in Him from its evil.
