What is the ruling on translating TV series and uploading them to YouTube and profiting from the accompanying advertisements, taking into account that some translations were obtained with permission or by purchase, and that the series are free of indecent scenes or innuendos?

Publishing and translating TV series falls under the same ruling as the series themselves. If they contain forbidden elements such as the display of awrat (private parts), advocacy for evils, or deviant ideas, then it is not permissible to publish or translate them. This is because doing so assists in their viewing, and Allah Almighty says: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty" (Quran 5:2). The money earned from such activities is forbidden. As for TV series free from Sharia prohibitions, it is permissible to upload, translate, and profit from them, provided that copyright is not violated.
