The suitor should not be informed of the matter unless it is discovered. Since he has been informed and understands, the parents or others should not be told. If the suitor doubts the wisdom of not informing the parents, let him know that the reason is modesty, that widening the circle of knowledge is not good, and that the was against informing them.
