How can one atone for watching indecent films and pictures via internet cafes?

The ruling on watching pornographic films and images has been previously clarified. The questioner must praise Allah for His guidance and for their repentance. They should know that Allah accepts a servant's repentance as long as they have not reached the gurgling state [of death], and He rejoices in their repentance. Repentance is realized through three matters: regret over what has passed, abandoning the sin immediately, and a firm resolve not to return to it. Whoever is sincere in their repentance and fulfills these matters, Allah will accept their repentance. One should also increase good deeds, as Allah the Almighty says: (Indeed, good deeds do away with ill deeds).
