If a person lends land for cultivation without specifying the type of usufruct, he is not permitted to reclaim the loan before harvest unless he compensates the borrower for the damage resulting from uprooting the crop prematurely, or if the crop is one that is harvested as fodder. However, if the lender stipulated a specific type of usufruct and the borrower violated the condition, the lender may reclaim it whenever he wishes without compensation.
