Filial piety does not necessitate living with one's parents. If you fear discord from your mother living with you and your wife, there is no sin upon you in letting her remain in her own residence, provided you are keen to check on her well-being, spend on her, and visit her. If you fulfill your duties towards her and do not mistreat her, then her anger or imprecations against you will not harm you, so long as they are without just cause.
