What is the impact of Zakat and forms of solidarity in combating poverty?

Zakat is a tool for social solidarity and fraternal cohesion among Muslims. If the wealthy were to pay it, the needs of the poor would be met, and affection and love would prevail; otherwise, envy and discord would emerge. It is a known right for the poor in the wealth of the rich, as Allah Almighty says: "And those in whose wealth there is a recognized right For the beggar and the deprived."
